| Squares of Care Knitting Baskets |
| Knitting baskets are placed at many waiting rooms throughout the Henderson Hospital, the Juravinski Cancer Centre, and Wellwood so that enthusiastic knitters can contribute a square, or even a few stitches, to create a colourful afghan to warm, comfort or cheer someone. The afghans are free of charge to anyone who is affected by cancer. More than 7000 have been handed out since the program began. |
