Wellwood quickly outgrew its current space at Henderson Hospital and is expanding to a community-based site, while keeping its present location to meet the needs of those who are in crisis, in treatment, hospitalized, or supporting a family member who is in hospital.

The new home, Wellwood's Juravinski House, will be a place of hope and healing to people living with life-threatening illness.

An acre of land has been donated at the Chedoke campus on the West Mountain. A number of local developers and construction material suppliers have committed to building our new home, at very modest cost, as their gift to this community. Charles and Margaret Juravinski have generously donated an endowment fund which will ensure the continuing operational stability of the new site.
